Bright Multi-Color Sprinkles

How to Make Birthday Sprinkle Cookies with Cake Mix
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Combine 1 package of vanilla cake mix, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup oil and mix well.
Scoop 1 1/2 inch size cookie dough balls and roll into sprinkles.
Place onto prepared baking sheet, leaving room between the cookies.
Bake for 10 minutes.

Do I need to chill the dough?
No. Chilling is not required, but chilling the dough for 20-30 minutes can help prevent spreading and create thicker cookies.
How do you keep sprinkles from bleeding?
Use jimmies (rod-style sprinkles) instead of nonpareils. Nonpareils tend to bleed color into the dough.
Can you freeze Cake Mix Cookies?
Yes. Freeze baked cookies or unbaked dough balls in a freezer safe bag or container. Thaw unbaked dough balls before baking.
Why did my cookies turn out dry?
Dry cookies are usually caused by overbaking. Remove them from the oven while the centers still look soft.
