These No Bake Peanut Butter Oat Bars combine creamy peanut butter, hearty oats, and a touch of sweetness to create soft, chewy bars that are perfect for snacks, desserts, or quick grab-and-go-treats. With no baking required and minimal cleanup, this recipe is ideal for busy days, warm weather, or anytime you want a satisfying homemade treat fast!
Why this Recipe Works
No Oven Required – Skipping the oven makes this recipe quick, stress-free, and perfect for warm weather or busy days.
Simple Pantry Ingredients – I love how everything comes together with basic ingredients you likely already have on hand – no specialty items needed!
Reliable Set Every Time – Chilling firms the bars just enough so they slice cleanly without becoming hard or crumbly.
Great for Make-Ahead Snacks – These bars store well in the fridge, making them perfect for meal prep, lunchboxes, or grab-and-go treats.
Kid-Friendly – Familiar flavors and a soft texture make these bars a hit with both kids and adults!

Ingredients You’ll Need
2 cups Peanut Butter – Acts as the main base and binder, providing rich flavor, creaminess, and structure so the bars hold together.
1 cup Honey – Naturally sweetens the bars and helps bind the oats, keeping the texture soft and chewy.
3 cups Old-Fashioned Oats – Adds hearty texture and chew, giving the bars substance and making them filling.
1 tsp Vanilla – Enhances and rounds out the peanut butter and honey flavors with subtle warmth.
1/4 cup Mini-Chocolate Chips – Add small bursts of sweetness and chocolate flavor without overpowering the bars.

How to Make No Bake Peanut Butter Oat Bars
NOTE: You can cut these into smaller pieces to make Copycat Heavenly Hunks .
Line a 8 x 8 pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a medium sauce pan, stir together 2 cups peanut butter, 1 cup honey, and 1 tsp vanilla until melted.
Remove from heat and mix in 3 cups old fashioned oats until well combined.
Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle 1/4 mini-chocolate chips on top.
Place in refrigerator until firm. Once firm, cut into bars.
Custom Size Bars – You can make these any size you’d like, just change the pan size to 9 x 13 or 9 x 9. You can even make them into Copycat Heavenly Hunks !
Peanut Butter Swap – If you want a little crunch, just use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy.
Vegan Substitution – You can use vegan mini-chocolate chips if you’d like to make this a dairy-free recipe. I have tested this swap and didn’t notice a difference in taste.
Storing Recommendation – These bars should be kept covered in the refrigerator. They are easiest to hold and eat when they are firm. When they are left out of the refrigerator, they get soft quickly. A thicker bar holds together better.
Add Mix-In’s – You can add in chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, or dried fruit for a different taste and/or texture. Just stir them in before pressing the mixture into the pan and/or sprinkle on top.
