Make cinnamon rolls look like Christmas trees for a fun Christmas morning breakfast treat!
Easy Christmas Tree Cinnamon Rolls
The first time I made these Christmas Tree Cinnamon Rolls, I baked them according to the time suggested on the back of the cinnamon roll can. The baking time was way too long, they were too dark.
So, the second time, I reduced the time and decided to thicken the icing and it was still a bust. The thickened icing covered the zig zag of the cinnamon roll dough so I couldn’t even tell it was a Christmas tree!
By this time I was determined to get these right. So I made them a third time and went easy on the icing drizzle so you can still see the shape of the tree! Success! What a relief.
If you want to make a special breakfast for Christmas morning, then you should consider making Christmas Pancakes , Mini Cinnamon Roll Waffles , Easy Monkey Bread , or Overnight French Toast Bake , too!

How to Make Christmas Tree Cinnamon Rolls
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll each cinnamon roll and shape into a Christmas tree by zig zagging it back and forth, slightly pressing the cinnamon roll dough together, and place onto the parchment paper.
Bake for 14 minutes. (Do not bake according to the directions on the cinnamon roll can.)
Warm icing for 10-15 seconds in the microwave and drizzle over the cinnamon rolls. Sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles.
