Original Rice Krispie Treats with Bunny Shaped Marshmallows

Looking at the fun colors in these Easter Marshmallow Rice Krispie Treats makes me smile! I bought a bag of Jet-Puffed Bunny Marshmallows with no plan in mind, but I knew I needed to find a way to use them. They were just too cute to pass up!

There is so much going on in the world right now. Instead of getting caught up in things I can’t control, I focus on the things that make me happy – my family, friends, my faith, the sunshine, volunteering for my church, surrounding myself with the laughter of children, and baking!

What You’ll Need

3 tbsp Butter, Melted

1 (10 oz) bag Marshmallows

6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

2 cups Jet Puffed Bunny Shaped Marshmallows

How to Make Easter Marshmallow Rice Krispie Treats

Spray 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.

Melt 3 tbsp butter in a large microwave safe bowl.

Pour 1 (10 oz) bag of marshmallows into the bowl and stir.

Place into microwave for 45 seconds, remove and stir.

Return to the microwave and heat for another 45 seconds. Remove from the microwave and stir again.

Pour 6 cups Rice Krispies into the melted marshmallows and mix until well combined.

Then stir in 2 cups jet puffed bunny shaped marshmallows until mixed in well.

Distribute evenly and press firmly into the pan.

Press additional jet puffed bunny shaped marshmallows into the top of the treats.

Pro Tip: Place a Ziplock bag over your hand and spray the outside of the bag with non-stick spray before pressing down the Rice Krispie Treats. This helps to keep them from sticking to your hand!
