Easy Chocolate Covered Strawberries for Valentine’s Day
The secret to perfect Chocolate Covered Strawberries for Valentine’s Day is to use chocolate almond bark! It melts perfectly tempered, which gives the strawberries a smooth, glossy finish. It doesn’t coat the berries too thick like milk chocolate, it’s much easier to work with, and it dries really fast!
Make sure the strawberries are completely dry. Any evidence of water will ruin the berries! The moisture prevents the chocolate from sticking to the berries and it will slowly start to leak out, making a mess of the appearance.
These pretty berries are a traditional addition to Valentine’s Day! You can decorate them any way you’d like. If you love these, then I think you’ll like Strawberry Cheesecake Dip , Raspberry Brownies , and Mini Valentine Cheesecakes , too!

What You’ll Need
24 Strawberries, Fresh
1 cup Chocolate Almond Bark
1/2 cup Vanilla Bark, Optional

How to Make the Best Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Wash and completely dry 24 fresh strawberries. (Any water will ruin them.)
Melt 1 cup chocolate almond bark in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth and melted.
Dip each strawberry into the chocolate, turning to coat all sides. Lift and let excess drip off, then set on lined baking sheet. Repeat until all strawberries are coated.
Let harden.
Optional: Drizzle melted vanilla almond bark over the chocolate covered strawberries.
