How to Make Tomato Basil Bruschetta

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Dice 3 vine ripe tomatoes and 1/2 small onion and set aside in a medium serving bowl. Remove tomato seeds and juice.

Add in 2 tbsp freshly chopped basil, 1 clove chopped garlic, 1/2 tsp dried oregano, 1/4 tsp black pepper, and 1/4 tsp fine sea salt to the bowl.

Stir to combine and set aside to marinate.

Slice 1 French baguette diagonally into bite-size pieces. Lightly brush both sides with extra virgin olive oil.

Place in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 8 minutes, flipping half way through.

Transfer to a serving platter.

When ready to serve, drain excess liquid from the bruschetta.

Spoon mixture on top of each toast, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, and top with crumbled feta cheese.

Cut Ingredients Evenly – Dice tomatoes and onion into small, uniform pieces so every bite is balanced.

Let the Mixture Rest – Let the tomato mixture sit for 10-15 minutes before serving. This helps the flavors blend beautifully.

Prevent Soggy Bread – Spoon the topping onto bread just before serving.
