Halloween Reese’s Bats with Oreos
A friend of mine, Katie, sent me this super cute idea for Reese’s Oreo Bats last Halloween and I ran out of time to make them. So I wanted to make sure I got around to making them for this Halloween!
Not only are these little bats adorable, but they are super easy to make! I think your kids will have a blast putting these together for their classmates, friends, family, or neighbors. It’s a fun way to say ‘Happy Halloween!’
If you’ve been with me for awhile, you know I love making cute food for kids. If you need a few more ideas for kids, then I think you’ll like these Candy Bar Monsters , Monster Eye Cookies , Halloween Ghost Donuts , Mummy Rice Krispie Treats , and Spider Donuts!

What You’ll Need
12 Mini Reese’s, Unwrapped
6 Oreos
24 Candy Eyes
2 tbsp Chocolate Chips, Melted

How to Make Reese’s Oreo Bats
Unwrap 12 mini Reese’s and set them on parchment paper.
Untwist 6 Oreos. Scrape cream filling off and cut in half. (This may take a few attempts, sometimes the cookies break while cutting.) Place near the unwrapped Reese’s in the direction they will be ‘glued’ on.
Melt 2 tbsp chocolate chips on a paper plate to use as ‘glue.’ Dip the back end corners of the Oreos into the melted chocolate and position onto the Reese’s to look like wings, as pictured. Repeat until all of the wings are on.
Dip a toothpick into the melted chocolate and put onto the back of a candy eye. ‘Glue’ on top of the wings as pictured. Repeat until all sets of eyes are ‘glued’ on.
Let harden before serving.
