These fluffy Cheddar Biscuits are simple to make! You will have fresh, warm biscuits in 30 minutes!

Easy Cheddar Biscuits

So she tried making them again, and still not a scone. But they were fantastic biscuits! She had perfected them. We pivoted and decided they were destined to be biscuits. But she had to make them a third time because she didn’t measure the flour. Even experienced bakers go through trial and error!

These would go really good with a bowl of Broccoli Cheddar Soup , a plate of Olive Oil Pasta , or a slice of Vegetarian Roast Beef!

What You’ll Need

3 1/4 cups Self-Rising Flour

8 tbsp Butter, Softened

Pinch of Salt

1/2 – 1 cup Finely Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1 1/2 cup Milk

How to Make Homemade Cheddar Biscuits

Preheat oven to 410 degrees. Spray a baking pan with non-stick spray and set aside.

Mix together 3 1/4 cups self-rising flour, 8 tbsp softened butter, and a pinch of salt.

Stir in 1/2 – 1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese.

Then stir in 1 1/2 cups milk.

Gently knead dough on lightly floured surface. Flatten to 3/4″ thick. Cut out rounds with a biscuit cutter.

Place on prepared pan so they are barely touching each other. Brush the tops of the rounds with milk.

Bake for 12-15 minutes.
