A Little Bit Magical in Every Bite!
There aren’t a lot of clothing stores for women in my town, so I am a frequent flyer at Maurices. Every now and then I have a meltdown over feeling like I wear the same thing all the time and go there for a wardrobe refresh. They may or may not recognize me… I cannot confirm or deny. HA!
When I walked in they told me all about the great sales they were having, so I grabbed a ton of stuff to try on and shockingly felt great in most of it. When I was all done I piled it on the counter and absolutely nothing in that stack of clothes qualified for the sale. Of course. Sigh.
So, as they rang stuff up I started keep and put back piles. I didn’t keep much because it really added up fast. The lady who helped me was really pushing a store credit card for the savings, therefore allowing me to get more of what I wanted. And of course, she gets commission from convincing me to get one. I passively told her I wasn’t interested, but by the third or fourth time of her pushing it on me I really regretted not declining more firmly.
God has promised to help and give us strength, all we need to do is ask. He will never impose Himself on us, He gives us the freedom to choose. Looking back, I wish I had the courage to remind her of that.
We never know what people have been through or what they may be going through. All we know is that nobody has it easy. We should always be a good example and be kind, yet firm in what we believe. You never know who is watching.
If you have marshmallow bits to use up, try making St. Patrick’s Day Dipped Rice Krispie Treats , St. Patrick’s Day Puppy Chow , or Lucky Charms Puppy Chow , too!

1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
2 cups + 2 tbsp Flour
3/4 tsp Baking Soda
1 cup Lucky Charms Marshmallows

How to Make the Best Lucky Charms Cookies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat together 3/4 cup softened butter, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup brown sugar until fluffy.
Then beat in 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together 2 cups + 2 tsp flour and 3/4 tsp baking soda.
Beat dry ingredients into the wet mixture until well combined.
Fold in 1 cup Lucky Charms marshmallows.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Press additional Lucky Charms marshmallows into the tops of the cookies right after removing from the oven.

Do the marshmallows melt?
Some of the marshmallows partially melt and caramelize slightly while baking, while others stay intact. This gives the cookies their signature look and sweet pops of flavor.
Are these cookies very sweet?
They are sweet, but balanced. The vanilla cookie base keeps them from being overly sugary, even with the marsmallows.
Can these cookies be frozen?
Yes! Freeze the baked cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
How should I store Lucky Charms Cookies?
Store in an airtight container at room temperature. This helps keep them soft and chewy.
