Hop Into Easter with These Bunny M&M Cookies!
I used my recipe for Soft & Chewy M&M Easter Cookies and just changed how I put the M&M’s in the tops of the cookies to make them look like little Easter bunnies. I just love these!
Also, my cookies don’t come out of the oven perfectly round. I nudge the sides of the cookies into a better shaped circle immediately after removing them from the oven. You should give it a try sometime! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how easy it is and how much better you feel about the look of your cookies.
If you like cute Easter treats, then I think you’ll love Mini Bird Nest Donuts , Easter Egg Bird Nest Cookie Cups , Peeps Bunny Sugar Cookies , and Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls , too!

1 tsp Vanilla
2 Eggs
3 cups Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
2 cups Spring Colored M&M’s

How to Make Easter Bunny M&M Cookies
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup butter, 3/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup brown sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla.
Add 2 eggs and beat well.
In a separate bowl, combine 3 cups flour with 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1/2 tsp baking powder. Pour into wet mixture and mix until dough forms.
Fold in 1 cup M&M’s.
Place heaping one inch scoops of dough on the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Press remaining M&M’s into the top of the baked cookies into the shape of Easter bunnies immediately after removing from the oven.

Can I use regular M&M’s instead?
Yes! If pastel colored M&M’s aren’t available, regular M&M’s work just the same, though the Easter theme will be less obvious.
Can I freeze Easter Bunny M&M Cookies?
Yes! Freeze baked cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Be sure to place them in the container very carefully so the M&M’s keep their bunny shape. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
Can I make these cookies ahead of time?
Yes! You can bake these 1-2 days in advance and store them in an airtight container at room temperature. They stay soft and chewy.
